We all have Thanatophobia - ( Fear of loosing someone ) I have often notice people giving grieve advice when they loose there near one, You need some time, everything will be fine, Time will heal all your wounds   It sounds like "Just sit back, and in time you will no longer have the sadness , guilt , fear, anger , memories which you are feeling right now " They will fade with the time and you will be fine  woo-ww, is it ? but this approach of grieving raise couple of questions to my head  1.
